Welcome to the College Board’s advocacy site. The College Board is a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization that connects students to college success and opportunity. Each year, the College Board helps more than seven million students prepare for a successful transition to college through programs and services in college readiness and college success — including the SAT and the Advanced Placement (AP) Program.
To ensure that students have the best chance to prepare for and succeed at college, we advocate for legislation at the federal and state level that increases opportunities for students to access AP courses and exams. When federal and state lawmakers face important decisions about funding and programs, it is critical that they hear directly from school and community leaders who can explain the value of AP for students and for the economy.
Please join the College Board’s AP Supporter Network to advocate on behalf of AP students and to receive monthly updates on education advocacy news.
