Youlonda Copeland-Morgan
Youlonda Copeland-Morgan currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the College Board and also Chaired the Task Force on College Access for Students from Low-Income Backgrounds, which formed the nationally recognized CollegeKeys Compact™
In a distinguished career that spans 30 years, Copeland-Morgan has held numerous leadership positions in student financial aid and admission and has been honored for her commitment to sound enrollment management and financial aid policy that affects access, equity, and minority participation in higher education. She was named to the College Board’s College Scholarship Service Hall of Fame and has received distinguished service awards from the California Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (CASFAA), the Western Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (WASFAA) and the College Board’s Western Region. She is also the recipient of NASFAA’s Leadership Award and CASFAA’s Lifetime Membership Award in recognition of her contributions to the profession. She has served several terms on the board of directors of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, as president of WASFAA, as chair of the Financial Aid Standards Advisory Committee of the College Board, Chairman of CSS Council and, for the past four years, as a trustee of the College Board. Prior to Syracuse University, Copeland-Morgan served as Vice President of Admission and Financial Aid at Harvey Mudd College.
