A policy forum to discuss recommendations for improving college access and success through federal student aid reform. Study group co-chairs Sandy Baum, Senior Policy Analyst at the College Board and Professor of Economics Emerita at Skidmore College, and Michael McPherson, President of the Spencer Foundation, set the stage for the discussions. Robert Shireman, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Education, addressed the group during lunch. Throughout the day, the group revisited the Rethinking Student Aid study group’s recommendations, with contributions from:
