The Southeast Center for Education in the Arts’ 2010 Arts & Education Forum: Arts @ The Core of 21st Century Learning, will explore how the arts can promote creative and meaningful instruction in the 21st century.

Nancy Rubino, director of the Office of Academic Initiatives, and Pamela Paulson, senior policy director of the Perpich Center for Arts Education and NTFAE steering committee member, will deliver a keynote presentation at Forum. They will share the recommendations of the National Task Force on the Arts in Education and its advocacy campaign for putting the arts at the core of elementary, secondary and postsecondary education. They’ll also lead a discussion about how the College Board can collaborate with other institutions and organizations in accomplishing these goals.
