Teacher Voices

Brought to you by the College Board Advocacy & Policy Center and the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, Teacher Voices: Critical issues in student learning and school reform is a  podcast series developed to bring you the voices of practicing classroom teachers and those who help train them for their critical work. Through a series of focus groups conducted in 2010, teachers from across the nation identified issues important to their work in today’s classrooms. These podcasts explore five of the identified issues from data assessment to technology and diversity.

In each recorded conversation, a practicing classroom teacher and a dean or faculty member from a school of education focus on one topic, exploring its impact on student learning and providing reform suggestions to policymakers. As the nation discusses how to improve American education, we believe it’s critical that we amplify the voices of our classroom teachers and those who work with them.
