Stand Up for the DREAM – Sacramento Capitol Summit

On Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, the College Board Advocacy & Policy Center, in collaboration with the Asian Pacific Islander Legislative Caucus, the California Latino Legislative Caucus, and the Legislative Black Caucus, held a summit in the California State Capitol to raise awareness about the plight of undocumented students and promote the DREAM Act as an effective, bipartisan solution.

Approximately 130 policymakers, business leaders, educators, community advocates and students attended the event, calling for passage of the federal DREAM Act, which would open the door to college opportunity for undocumented students.
