On April 21, 2009, the College Board held a briefing at the Capitol Visitor Center in Washington, DC, to announce its formal endorsement of the DREAM Act and the release of a new policy brief, Young Lives on Hold: The College Dreams of Undocumented Students. The panel of speakers included the report's author, policymakers, advocates and students. The audience included press, education associations, immigrant advocacy associations, and congressional staff.
