To help states, districts, and partnerships increase students' access to and success in education, various federal funding opportunities or privately funded grant competitions are available. An increased awareness and understanding of these and similar programs may improve your chances in acquiring federal funding. The programs listed below are some that may fit your needs:

• Advanced Placement™ Incentives Program (APIP)
  Encourage low-income students to participate in Pre-AP and AP.
• Math and Science Partnerships
  Increase teachers' content knowledge of math and science and improve students' learning.
• National Math & Science Initiative (NMSI)
  Launch training and incentives programs for Pre-AP and AP.
• Upward Bound
  Learn about the College Board's Washington, D.C., Upward Bound program and explore how you can become involved in local Upward Bound programs.
• Educational Opportunity Center
  Learn how the College Board assists first-generation college-going adults in Washington D.C. discover EOC programs in your own area.
• GEAR UP
  Increase the number of low-income students prepared to enter a postsecondary institution.
